I've been looking to try the barefoot phenomenon, and these were a great starting point. Very quality construction and surprisingly comfortable. No hot spots!

Wish I had bought more than one pair! Fits like a glove. Odd thing is I have bunions and when I slouch/walk the shoes press against them and hurt. But, when I straighten and walk heel down properly no pain. They really do improve my posture. I will look for more of this brand. Love these pretty shoes.

I have wide feet, sometimes shoes bother the tops of my feet. These are very soft and do not bother my feet. I did order a 1/2 size larger so that might be part of it too. Nonetheless, they are so light and comfortable. I can't wait until the snow is gone so I can wear them more than outside!

Can be worn with jeans, dresses - versatile and cute. Comfortable but you prob would not want to walk in them for 8 hours, as they have relatively thin soles. True to size.

These are so comfortable and can wear them all day. I am normally a size 8.5 but got these in a 9. Perfect fit.

I love these shoes so much this is my second pair, I also ordered the boot style from the company of this brand, they are so comfortable and awesome everyday wear, they help to feel connected to the earth but not exposed to the elements. Love!!

Ordered these first in the darker brown in a 6. They came, marked as 6's, but they were HUGE--more like 8's in reality. STP fixed the problem by sending me a 6 in the lighter brown. I love the shoes. They aren't super comfy because there's very little cushion. But they seem well-made and they are really very cute on.

Then my dog ate them so I ordered them again and I saw that they had the 6's in the dark brown and so I took a chance and ordered them because I really like that color best. But the same thing happened. Probably they took the clearly defective shoes I had returned and put them back in stock. Anyway, I had to return them for the light brown AGAIN.

Despite the pain that this all was for me, I'm happy to have another (Unchewed) pair. I'll keep these away from the dog if I can!

I can't speak to much about this shoe beyond the sizing. I guess it looked reasonably cute in-person. I have another pair of Vivobarefoot shoes in a 39 that fit me beautifully. These in a 39 were so tight I could barely get them on.

I have a narrow heel and a wider midfoot. Most minimalist shoes are too narrow at the midfoot to be comfortable for me. Vivobarefoot is the exception. I have owned many pairs of their running shoes, and have a great affection for them. I wanted to try out their non-running shoes. I am not disappointed. They are comfortable and well constructed, and the leather is soft and lovely. I can't give them 5 stars because the toe box is quite a bit narrower than all my vivo running shoes. Not so narrow that they are constricting, but not wide enough for my toes to fully splay when I walk. I'm assuming the leather will stretch some, but the outsole is narrower than my other vivobarefoot shoes. I do like them, and will wear them when I can't be barefoot and need something more than my minimalist sandals, but I wouldn't consider them a true "barefoot" shoe.

I had heard about the shoe industry in Ethiopia so want to support them. If you order, keep in mind that they run big, and as a 'barefoot" shoe, the offer no support. They a re wonderfully light, and I love the idea of this company offering gainful employment to people in a country with a lot of difficulties. Im sure the jobs mean a great deal to those who make these shoes.
