I can't say much about these boots. I bought them for use in 2017. But I am very happy with what I have seen so far. They are all leather boots. They take a little to break them in which is what I expect from all leather boots. They are true to size which is a problem I have had with some insulated boots where they make a single size boot and offer different amounts of insulation. They stand up to streams and snow well. I have walked in them for up to an hour and they are comfortable but probably could do with inserts. My bext recommendation is that I bought a second pair.

I'm really happy with these boots. My first application was tree stand hunting in a marshy area in 25° weather. My feet stayed nice and warm, despite the sedentary nature of sitting in the stand for hours. They also stayed bone dry despite standing water 4-5 inches deep in spots and some heavy, wet snow. I wore them for several days and logged about 5 miles with minimal break-in before hand. They are quite comfortable once you break them in enough to get the upper part flexing. Before that break-in, which only took a few hours, they were reminiscent of ski boots. This is my first pair of tall boots so it's all new to me. But I am really happy with them. Looking forward to using them in place of my big Sorel's for snow blowing and other winter activities.

I took these with me right out of the box and on a 5 day elk hunting trip in eastern Oregon in Oct. We hiked several miles each day in wet marshy terrain. They are big a rugged but that was what I wanted. I was expecting a world of pain since I didn't have a chance to break them in. However, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After the first day I started getting a hot spot on the top of my big toe from a hard fold that would form when I stepped. The second day I got a small blister but after that I had no further issues. by the 5th day they were very comfortable and now I couldn't be happier with them. I was very impressed with how dry my feet stayed the entire trip. I could stand in water up to my ankles and never felt a drop. Got them on sale too, so for the price I'd say you can't go wrong. I would definitely recommend these boats for fall/winter hunting.I didn't get to test them in snow but I if they can be submerged in a creek and still keep me dry I have no doubt these will be great there too.

Less than a week to break in and solid construction/water proofing.

I live in payson utah and work outside, this boot keeps my feet dry and warm. QUITE comfortable even though a bit heavy. Such is part of an insulated boot however.

My feet are always tricky to fit because I'm a 12.5 (European 47) low volume foot. I ordered the 13D and it was really tall in the toe box and longer than I needed. So I ordered the 12D (European 46) and it fits absolutely perfectly. So I'd say these run a tad big. I am wearing the Smartwool Heavyweight hiking socks with them and my toes have just enough room to move around and are not touching the front. Break-in will take a while, so I probably won't be wearing these on my elk hunt this week, but the vibram sole is flexy/squishy, perfect for hunting in the wet Pacific Northwest. Full leather and Gore-tex are standards for around here.
