I have been wearing Pure Flows, but Brooks has changed the style of them. The newer Pure Connects have also been changed, so I felt lucky to be able to get this model. I have been wearing minimal shoes including 5 fingers for several years, but need something with more padding for 10 mile plus distances, and something I can wear a warm sock in when it goes under 40 degrees. These shoes have extra padding under the ball of the foot for us forefoot strikers. They also have more arch support than I am used to, but they instantly felt like "mine" when I put them on. I ended up buying 2 pair.

I own 8 pairs from the Brooks Pure line. They run a size smaller than my normal dress shoes and a half size smaller than my Nikes. So I wear a 7.5 in Nike and I order an 8 in the Brooks Pure. They fit beautifully and it feels as if I'm walking on clouds. Love them!!!

I ran a 10k right out of the box, and man were they comfortable. No rub, plenty of space in the toes (had a problem with the Pure Connect 2).

I had the first, several of the second and one or two of the third versions. This one I don't like as much.
They seem to last about three months so getting them discounted is a wonderful thing. I like the heel to tow motion but this one doesn't fit my foot as well.

I expected to feel uncomfortable the next day, but so far no discomfort with these minimalist shoes. It's my first pair, and I really like them. I'm not running in them; they're my everyday shoes. (I run in a Brooks Ghost.) Usually I go up a size in my running shoes; I went up a 1/2 size in these. They are a little snug--not uncomfortably so. I could not have worn my usual everyday size for regular shoes. They are super comfortable, and I've worn them almost every day for the two weeks I've had them.

Bought these for my Mom and here's her opinion. Shoes are very comfortable, extremely light, and yet supportive around my arch. I use them every day when I run. Shoes are true to size. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to buy them a half size up; it was not necessary. I'm keeping them though, because the extra length is so minimal that it wasn't worth returning the shoes that account. I would buy these shoes again in a heartbeat.

After having my sesamoid bone removed in my foot I have a hard time finding a comfortable shoe for walking. These are great! Good arch support, wide enough for my foot and for my toes. I usually wear a 7 to 7 1/2 in shoes, ordered a 7 1/2 and the for is perfect.

This is my fourth pair of the pure connect family. I think this pair has a "fluffier" fit to the shoe siding and tongue... However the toe of the shoe will need to get broken in with tee lack of a stitching element over the front toe crease that the last three pairs have had. Also I miss the burrito tongue on this one. Overall consistent with comfort and arch support.

I have narrow feet and high arches. These are THE shoes that fit my feet.I had two pairs of Pure Connect 3 and now am in the 4s. Same fit, thank goodness. I wear them as a daily shoe and I also do cross fit in them. They are very light, yet have more cushion and support than a true minimalist shoe. The black with pink are cute.
