Wore these once and they do the job as far as insulating, but they must be made for someone with skinny legs. I don't mind snug, but skin tight isn't comfortable. I'm 5'11" 200lbs and these are uncomfortably tight.

I got these for my husband, he wears them a lot I might need to get another pair.

These were great. I sued them for a week of fishing on lake of the woods in late September. Kept me nice an warm. I got a large and they are a little big. Seems like they run slightly larger than expected.

Seriously, fantastic price. I had been wearing fleece lined tights with another running tight over them and sometimes additional wind pants on top for cold weather running. My legs were still cold, which was becoming rough on my knees. I got a pair of these to wear over a thinner running tight and am now toasty warm. If it's above 32 degrees they may be too warm for you. They have plenty of stretch to get on yet hold still in place over the other running tights. They don't have a drawstring but do not shift around. They length is really great as well. I can have them low on my ankle yet they don't pull down at all at the top of the legs. I do find them a touch itchy, but wear the thin running tight underneath and now have no problems....especially at the price and warmth they give me. I don't have any problems with wind, moisture or negative temperatures anymore. This was a big win!

These are thick and were too warm on my bluebird day test run. I am a little concerned about them staying warm and comfortable because it looks like they are starting to pill after the first wash. We'll see...

For the price, they seem like a good option

These are great base layer bottoms! They are way too warm for "cold" weather in Sacramento, but just perfect for going out to the Sierra Nevada mountains. Tested and found to be the best for the snow trip. I ordered 1 and then 2 more of these. They are very comfortable and non-itching. Wool-blend. I recommended them to my friends.

Nothing fancy, but the price for these 2nds is great. I didn't notice any obvious flaws or defects, so I'm not sure what makes these 2nds. I haven't worn them snowshoeing yet so I can't attest to their durability, but they are cozy and the fit is true to size (5'9" 155 lb. bought medium). The inner tag says Polartec, so that threw me since they are fuzy on the inside. With a 45% nylon, 40% wool, 15% spandex blend I was not expecting them to be fleece-lined (these remind me of thermal running tights).
