Lole Alta Downglow Down Ski Jacket - 500 Fill Power, Waterproof (For Women)

Closeouts. It's no wonder Lole has such a loyal following when they design beautifully versatile pieces like the Lole Alta Downglow jacket. Low-profile down keeps you toasty warm and looking fine, and the waterproof breathable membrane locks out ice, rain and snow. The integrated hood is helmet compatible, too.

I so wanted to keep this jacket but the double zipper made the collar stick up in front of your face. I know this would be great when skiing on a cold day but all the rest of the time it was just awkward. I tried unzipping both sides and then you just had a funny tongue sticking out. Also while the coat fit well there wasn't much give so I was worried about feeling constricted while skiing. The weight was great and the white color and fashion fit was great. unfortunately I am returning it and still on the hunt for a new ski coat.

I loved this jacket. The fit was off. It was too narrow in the shoulders and the arms were tight. It was constricting to bend my elbows. Such a disappointment. I ordered a size large.

I typically wear small, 5'4" 118, 32 D and needed a large. Shoulders and chest too tight in medium and small for me. That all being said, I love jacket and kept the large.

I am 5'4'" and weigh 118, wear 32 D bra. I ended up with a large, fit perfectly. Quality appears good and portions (once you size up) are great.

I LOVE the daffodil color with grey zippers. The surface is textured, not shiny. It's got cool stitching and stylish detailing too. I'm not sure how I feel about the off-center zip. When both zippers are unzipped the center flap hits me in the chin/face. It's kind of annoying. When only the long zipper is open it's not a big deal. Now speaking of the zipper...it's the main reason the jacket is going back. I've only been able to get it zipped up once. It sticks at the bottom and simple won't zip, hmmmm.

I got this for winter cross county skiing although it would be great for Alpine as well. Feminine fit and runs a bit small. I'm 5'4'' 140 lbs and a medium fit nicely. No need for too much layering as it's nice and warm already. Loving Lole brand!

Beautiful jacket - nice quality materials. The cut of the jacket is nicely fitted - which is a huge plus for me with women's jackets - but I think the jacket runs a tad on the small size because even the arms felt a bit too tight. I'm returning the jacket and purchasing the next size up and hoping that this will do the trick. I'm not sure I'll be able to layer much under the jacket, so hopefully it will be warm.
