I wanted a lightweight packable insulated piece for spring and summer hikes. I think that this will be perfect. Folds into it's own pocket and is super lightweight. A terrific deal. The Ghost Whisperer was too tight under the arms, but this fits like my other Mountain Hardwear.

Love this jacket! I wear small and it is true to size. It is light weight and very warm... I can't wait to head up to the mountains!

This is super lightweight - and can smash down to fit in a pocket! It isn't warm enough for really bitter cold, but it is great for low 40s - I got it as a traveling layer, I can put it under a rain shell and be prepared for just about anything except sub-zero weather with those two pieces. It fits nicely - loose enough to layer a heavy sweater under it, but fitted enough to look decent with a light shirt underneath. Pockets are plenty big, although there is no inside pocket. Arms are plenty long. I got a small, and normally wear about a 6. A few people complained about the zipper, I haven't run into any issues with it. For the price, you can't go wrong!

Would not think it was that warm, but it is and is great to use because the inside is nice and slippery.

Loved the fit and warmth of this jacket. But the zippers are poorly designed in that there is a fabric flap on top of them, and the zipper constantly gets stuck. So annoying I had to return it!

I'd read people's reviews but still wasn't expecting this to be as thin and light as it is. Nonetheless, it's surprisingly warm and windblocking. I have worn it for 2 weeks and the weather has been between 20-35 degrees. It's worked wonderfully in these temps. I expect much below 20 and I'd want a wool sweater layer or maybe a heavier coat for regular (i.e. non-exercising) outside uses. But the lightness makes it a great choice to wear to work. I typically wear smalls and I went with a medium to allow room for bulky sweaters underneath. It's the perfect call. Oh -- and the sleeves are long enough. I often find sleeves are too short for me. Not so here.

I really wanted to love this jacket. The purple color was just terrific and the STP price was really a bargain. However, the fabric was wrinkly and low, quality seeming. There wasn't much loft in the padding, which of course makes for easy travel packing, but it wore like a cheap t-shirt. I stepped outside momentarily to test in unusually high winds we were having (20 mph gusts) and while the jacket performed well as a windbreaker I still was cold. I can see myself needed to bulk up to have the warmth provided by a wool jacket, but that defeats the purpose of this technical jacket. Finally, the jacket was not designed with a whole lot of female anatomy in mind it seems, and on my body at least, just hung poorly....again giving the appearance of wearing a cheap, oversized t-shirt. With great sadness, I'm sending this back.

Yes, I loved my 2 from last year, so I got 2 more colors this year. Perfect for travel, perfect for layering. I wear one of these on my vacation out of the Midwest winter to the beach. It folds up small, to pack. The jacket works well with a shirt and fleece underneath. It is true to size, so order what you would usually buy.
