The coat was amazing. Simply a little too large/bulky. My wife wanted it to be a little more fitted. Length was fine.

I wanted a jacket that would keep out the bitter cold - this is it. I looked for longer lengths that would cover more than short jackets. The only small problem is with me and not the jacket - my hips and posterior are larger than I would like so it is a little snug at the bottom but still works - double zip will help if needed. I am a size 12 in other items and ordered L. Material is a little stiff but not a deal breaker and the hood is the right size to stay up when needed - I love to have a hood and it was a required feature for me. I was worried about the color based on another review but to me it is a nice crisp white. Good investment, happy with purchase.

I am 5'4 and 110lbs, the small was enormous on me. If you like a bigger baggier fit this is good but, I felt like I was swimming in it. It seemed really nice and warm however, I am returning it...

Pros: Very nice looking jacket. The cuffs are very nice and soft around the wrists, and the zipper very comfortable under the chin. It seemed like it would be very warm.

Cons: The color was a very white-white. Judging from the picture, it appeared that the zipper is a bright white and the actual coat is an off-white. The description says white/steam white, which made me think further that the coat is an off-white. But no, the steam white is a definite white-white. Also, as others have commented, it is a little stiffer than most of the other downy type jackets, which personally wasn't too much of an issue. My mom (who I ordered it for) didn't mind that, it was still comfortable. The main issue was the color.

Also: Note: I ordered both the medium and large for my mother. If we had kept one, it would have been the large. So I would size up if you are between sizes or not sure.

In LOVE with the features of this coat-700 down fill power, nylon ripstop fabric, removable powder skirt, multiple pockets (even a pocket on the sleeve), adjustable hood, fleece-lined chin guard & hand pockets (extremely soft & warm), & the extended sleeves that fit over your hands (they're silky soft)! The coat has a very flattering fit (feminine & not too puffy) & it fit as expected. I ordered a small (I'm 5'4" 110 lbs) & it is fitted, yet loose enough to wear multiple layers underneath! The print on the inside of the black coat (& in the hood) is blue, tan, & cream. I wasn't sure if I would like the print, but I do! The ONLY negative of this coat are the pit zips. In fact, my decision on whether to keep this coat or not hinges on the pit zips. The pit zips are uncomfortable, esp when wearing multiple layers underneath. They feel like they are digging into my armpits. I'm disappointed in how this was designed, considering that I LOVE the coat in every other way. Just trying to decide if I can live with the uncomfortable pit zips or not. Otherwise, highly recommend this coat!!! :)

I needed a warm coat, so I could stand patiently when my 7 year old takes several minutes to get out of the car, or when she wants me to stand and watch her climb a tree. Now I have patience because I am not shivering. I love this coat. The armpit zippers can cool your trunk while still keeping your extremities warm. It fits snug, but not too tight. I get compliments because it makes me look probably more shapely than I actually am! Stylish and warm. What could be better!

This jacket amazed me when I received it. The fabric is very thick and durable (like a canvas material would be) but lightweight and moveable. The cut is more on the trim side but still generous enough to layer underneath easily.
