These i ordered in a xl because pearl usually runs small, they were to big for me , i am a 12/14.
also they were pretty heavy i think for very cold rides.

I was disappointed to find that these pants run very small. I bike 3-4 times per week, 5'3", 120 lbs. the waist is tiny and the legs are too narrow. Pearl Izumi makes a good product but their bottoms consistently are too small for my athletic legs.

Well made, but at this is summer as I write this, I won't be able to test these to winter conditions that they were made for. Hence four stars, as I cannot verify winter time performance at present. They fit well, though advisedly, as I am male and find that womens large generally fits, and doesn't matter a whole lot for tights.

I'm a skate skier and I have been looking for a pair of thermal tights that are loose enough to layer over base layer thermal tights. Winters here can be windy so I was also looking for some protection from wind but also breath-ability. These are FANTASTIC, I normally would get a medium but I got large to accommodate layering. The only problem is that they are in serious need of a crotch gusset in the WORST way! They don't have a chamois and having one might help. I can add the gusset, but if I was not a seamstress I would have sent them back.
