Compressible and warm. I am 5'6" 140lbs 39" chest and fit is good - not too trim and not too baggy. Weighs 11 oz on my digital scale. Was looking for something lighter than a classic 1 lb mid-weight and this will work.

This is a great lightweight pullover that equals the warmth of a fleece. It is quite breathable but more windproof than regular fleece. The tailoring is really a trim fit so a large works for me (5'10" - 160lbs.) If you are any heavier you will want to size up. The sleeves are long enough for my long arms.

This jacket / shirt is made with Polar tech Alpha. with a light nylon shell. It definitely is more breathable than down or primaloft as far as I can tell.
It Is roughly comparable to a thick fleece for warmth (200 weight) but blocks the wind and light precipitation better and is thinner, lighter, and more compressible. I have worn this a lot and it just does not get clammy inside when you build up some body heat or wear under a breathable outer layer / shell like Event or Dry Q evap. I used it as a base layer in my down bag winter camping and was surprised how breathable it was.

The fit was too snug in the shoulders for me in a medium, (I am 5.10 175 lbs.) would be five stars if it had some stretch panels and possibly underarm venting or lighter arm pit fabric.
