If you dislike tightness - why are you looking at compression products? These are hard for me to get on and off, but worth it. My legs feel good biking or walking and they give me an extra layer of warmth which is handy this winter. I did size up one notch because I'm new to compression products.

I bought these to wear for skiing and snowmobiling. Not only did they keep my legs warm, but I didn't get any calf fatigue! I highly recommend these. I used the sizing chart, and it was right on.

I have restless legs that cramp and shake at night. I thought, why not try these. LOVE THEM as they have helped so much and I am getting much better sleep at night. Only complaint is that they have pilled quickly from my flannel sheets (but I don't think runners will have much problem with that!)

I love these! For several years I thought my shoes were causing the problem. I can wear most shoes as long as I have these. My lower legs don't feel so tired. It also makes a difference for long hours in a vehicle.

I really like to use compression post run to recover and get blood flowing in my legs. I have worn these several times and they have not given up their compression. I measured my calf and ordered the Medium, thinking these would fit well. However, they are so tight near my ankles that they leave an impression. These are warm and the blue is a great color, I just wish I ordered a larger size.

these run very tight. if you are not comfortable with compression gear best to size up. once you have comfortable size the sleeves will help with recovery. well made and great price with STP

So I am admittedly biased towards Smartwool as there are almost the only brand of dock I wear, but I a, extremely happy with the compression sleeves. I actually fall in the over lap of the small and medium and both work well. He most noticeable difference fir me is the length of the medium is longer. I also use the socks and love all the Ph.D. Running compression. For road racing I've gone up to half, trail up to 10 mi, and 24 hour shifts at a hospital.

I like these calf sleeves, which I use primarily to keep my shin splints at bay. They were comfortable, but were a bit tough to get on (which is the same with every compression item out there). Color is wonderful. Be sure to measure your calf for the right fit! I got the small even though my calves are more like mediums because I'm short and otherwise they would be too long.
