I'm not thrilled with the northface products i've purchased lately. i dont have abnormally long arms, but this jacket has sleeves that pull down to my fingertips, otherwise the shoulders puff up like shoulderpads. it gives me a real 80s look. Medium is my go to size for northface, so i purchased this item online thinking it would suit me. perhaps a small would've looked better- but as there are limited supplies, there's no real way to return/exchange. Its warm, but no more so than my old generic puffy jacket. it'll do, but for the price (even the discounted price) i wish i'd tried it on first. i definitely would've passed.

I got my new jacket just in time for the cold temps to settle in. I am get cold very easily and this coat keeps me totally warm. In fact, I've even been too warm on occasion. Unheard of! I like the fit and love the adjustability of the hood. You can cinch it up so that no air gets in. I've never had a nicer hood. Overall love this coat. Looking forward to trying it under my shell while skiing. It will be nice on the coldest of days.

I ordered a medium, it fits but not with thick sweatshirts. I wish I would of ordered a lrg., but now they're out. Hopefully they get more in. Other than that, Love it!

This coat is seriously warm. I live in Western Alaska, and I needed a new coat that would keep me warm and that I could put layers underneath. It isn't the coldest it'll get yet, so I'm excited to testing this coat in the really cold temps. The bottom and hood are both adjustable with a cord, there is a goggle wipe pocket in the sleeve that's useful for money or little things, and the media-compatible chest pocket is plenty big enough for my phone and cards. I am 5'8", 185 pounds with a belly and large chest. I ordered the XL and I can easily fit multiple layers underneath this jacket. The magenta and neon orange colors work look really good together, and gives a nice pop of color in the wintertime.

Cons: short. It is advertised as a jacket, so it lives to it's name, but I find that I constantly have to tuck in shirts/sweaters or hike up my pants. The jacked stops at my belt line, and I find myself wishing it was just a couple inches longer to cover my butt or at least make it so I don't have to tuck in clothes. The other thing to note is that it is extremely puffy. If you're looking for a down coat, you probably are looking for figure-flattering, but still- this makes me a toasty magenta marshmallow. Lastly, It's not too bad, but I've had the coat only a couple weeks and have had about a dozen feathers poke through my jacket.

Like jacket for snowshoeing. North Face runs small in sizing so take that into consideration.

Love the jacket. I ordered an xs and am 5 feet 2 inches and 105 lbs. Fits great even with a hoodie or fleece underneath. Love the hood and it's a really warm jacket.

I bought this for skiing, but returned it because it runs at least one size big. it is cut very generously for layering and movement and the pockets are placed well. The pink and orange was really cute. I downgraded it to 4 stars for the lack of pit zips and not being waterproof.
