SmartWool Double Corbet 120 Jacket - Merino Wool, Insulated (For Men)

Closeouts. With surprising warmth and outstanding mobility in a lightweight package, SmartWool's Double Corbet 120 jacket is a go-to for cold days when mobility is a must. It puts powerful merino wool to work in the soft-and-stretchy lining, sides and sleeves, and SmartLoft insulation in the front and back panels holds in heat even when wet.

This is a terrific jacket that will be a great layering piece for very cold days. The body is insulated but the sides & sleeves are made out of Smartwool fabric so it won't be bulky as an under layer. I've never been disappointed with anything from Smartwool and this is no exception.

I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, and broad chested relative to my waist. I ordered a bunch of Smartwool items to try SM and MD. I found that the SM was the perfect length, but the torso circumference is super tiny - could hardly breathe. The MD fit me pretty well in the torso, but was too long in the length and the sleeves were a little baggy. It's unfortunate because I really love the Corbet 120 jacket materials and it feels to be great quality. Same deal for the NTS 250 tops.

If anyone can recommend a similar jacket where a size small doesn't require a toothpick stature, I'd like to hear about it!

Bought it for biking, hiking and walking in 40's and wet weather. Ended up wearing all the time, around the house, to the grocery store and out and about town. Very comfortable and I wear it with smart wool base underneath. Probably will get another one shortly for when it's in the laundry...

Used often with only t shirt during early chill of New Hampshire autumn. Needed a light wind breaker on breezy days. Got wet on surprising shower, yet remained warm and air dried quickly. All in all, top flight apparel from Smartwool. Highly recommended, especially with usual great STP prices.

This SmartWoool Corbet Double 120 jacket is my second SmartWool item...have a Corbet vest also. The quality of the item is very high, and the style is smart and sharp. The seams at the marriage points of the merino wool sleeves and the nylon body are very smooth. The color contrast is eye-catching with the black wool arms and the loden green shell. Because of the slim fit of the jacket, I intend to wear the item mostly as a base layer under a parka or heavier jacket on real cold days.

The medium fit for me is perfect, and the jacket is just the right length...plenty long at my above average height. The bargain from STP was super. I've seen the item around the ski shops for full list. My profile is to buy high quality goods at bargain prices...so far my philosophy is working! You won't be disappointed...

It really is hard to go wrong with SmartWool. This is no exception. I somehow found this jacket on STP for about $70 and bought it immediately. It is so incredibly comfortable and insanely versatile. I wore this camping last weekend, and wore it to the office yesterday. The fit is just as described as well. Merino wool is generally used as a base layer, but with the polyester shell it does create some uncomfortable interior seams, if you were to wear it next to bare skin. I usually have some kind of compression shirt under it. Those two together make this perfect to wear on a 40-50 degree day without needing a coat over the top. Highly recommend!

The quality of this jacket is phenomenal, especially considering the STP price. I have a similar design Marmot jacket and the Smartwool is miles ahead in details and warmth. I'm 6'2 and 210lbs, L fits like a glove. One thing that you can't see from the pics here, there is a small embroidered logo on the left sleeve near the shoulder. Do not hesitate, no disappointments here.

This has to be the lightest & warmest mid, maybe outer jacket I've ever worn. Wear a nice wool base layer and you are golden my friend. If you like to move fast & light, look classy at the same time, exceptional quality; look no further.
