Sierra Designs Microlight 2 Jacket (For Women)

Closeouts. A nice lightweight layer for drizzly days, Sierra Designs' Microlight 2 jacket is made of wind- and water-resistant polyester with a DWR coating to help water bead off instead of soak through. It neatly packs into the included stuff sack for when the skies clear up.

It looks and feels good. But the size runs a little small. It is light and has its own pouch to stuff into.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. It is lightweight and comfortable, easy to fold up and take on the go, color matches picture and the size is perfect. I ordered a small and can wear it comfortably with a thin or thick shirt, possibly even a hoodie but I haven't tried that yet.

I got to wear it the day after I received it, it poured all day. I stayed as dry as was possible with this jacket. It was lightweight and very comfortable. I'm so glad I bought it.

Good light shell for unexpected weather. Not fancy but well made. I'm med or large and large fit me just right.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship but snug. Wanted to have a lightweight fleece on under if necessary and this jacket wouldn't allow that. Returned.

I initially purchased for a travel, summer jacket use, but returned because it was too light for my needs. Although I didn't get to try the jacket out, it is supposedly wind and water resistant and looks so from the fabric. It is very light weight and would seem to resist a light rain, mist, and fog of San Francisco. However, I get a little cold, so returned for something with a lining.

Outstanding for the price. It's somewhat fitted but what I was looking for over my bigger rain jacket. I am an xs.

I have recently purchased this jacket, I needed a quick cheap option for a rain jacket to keep in my day-pack and for backpacking. I ordered the size medium (my normal size) and it is slightly tight around my midsection even just over my base-layer. It is great for packing on a hike, I also wore it to play Frisbee golf in thick willows and I wore it kayaking last weekend. No tearing when I was bushwhacking willows to retrieve Frisbees, it was comfortable, and I can get good range of movement. It is really light/thin so I am not sure yet how it will hold up to a lot of vigorous activity this year but the lightness/thinness make it is perfect for rolling it up tight and throwing in your pack. Oh and I love that it comes with its own pack bag attached in the pocket. For the price, it is totally worth it.

My daughter loves this jacket. She's 10, but tall and sturdy boned. I hesitate to buy her children's sizes in jackets because they can be too small for her frame. She wears anywhere from a 12-16 in youth, but an xsmall adult fits her pretty well. Seems well made and withstood machine washing on delicate and cold water.
