Keen Olympus Lite Socks - Merino Wool, Quarter Crew (For Women)
2nds. Keen's Olympus Lite socks make tough terrain a bit more forgiving with light cushioning and incredibly durable nylon fibers. Plus, merino wool keeps your feet feeling fresh, dry and in an optimum temperature range no matter where your ventures take you.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jake from Montana on Saturday, March 5, 2016We got these for our daughter who is starting to enjoy hiking the trails of Montana with us. We will really put them to the test this summer. They are comfortable and seem to be well made.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alan O'Hashi from Boulder, CO on Monday, February 29, 2016STP sometimes stocks keen socks. I like them because they are left and tight. If I shop right, I can get them very inexpensively.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hiking Hussy from Montana on Thursday, February 25, 2016These socks are bad- as in good. Good socks. Awesomely bad. Buy them for their badness.
Threads: these BAD boys breathe. Look at that vent on the top of the foot! Look at the padding in the heel and toe! Keen claims they are stronger than STEEL and they will replace them if they wear out. Bad, I say, bad! As in good.
Cut: Toe rubs? Not here- these are made with NO seems to keep the hardworking tootsies free of the blisters. A low-top cuff allows for some hardcore move-ability in the ankle area and a good dose of 'dude my ankles aren't hot' while really working hard.
Color: I got the bright blue. Nobody's gonna miss my kicks coming down that dirt trail. I rock the bright pink and orange Salomons with bright blue socks. Best dressed hiking hussy coming down the line.
Conclusion: Don't miss out on these for your toughest trail crawls. I plan on using these socks for all 211 miles of the John Muir trail in August. With the way these are made, I have no worries concerning my feet.
