My son loves his new boots. Hiked with them the day after he received them as a gift. No complaints

These boots did it all! Comfortable right out of the box and light weight. I averaged 4 to 6 miles a day in the woods, from logging roads and skidder trails to cutting through slash up and down steep slopes, crossing streams and muddy trails, these boots took it all "in stride". Cold, wet and sore feet weren't even a thought.

Had to return boot as exterior plastic cut into ankle when laced snugly.

Very nice Boots, Wish the whole boot was made in the USA. They do run a one size to small, at least they did for me. Very well made and light in weight.

I've seen other reviews showing the sole delaminating from the boot. These boots are lightweight, seem warm, but the plastic laminate on the lower laces seems like a cheap "stiffening" attempt. After trying them on around the house, I am returning them. They would probably be fine for a treestand hunter who isn't hiking challenging terrain.

This is a beautiful boot. Lightweight, nice materials, and nicely made as Irish Setter typically does. However, my son and I feel the plastic on the side that they use for support and for the lacing, seems to cut into your foot as it is rather stiff when wearing. But otherwise, the boot is good. We are planning on returning the boot due to this reason. When in the field all day you don't want anything cutting into you. I'm downgrading it two stars for this. Maybe this is why it's being closed out.

I received the boots within a week of ordering. Some mild confusion, but customer service was very nice. I know Irish Setters tend to run a little narrow, so I ordered an extra wide size. The boots were a little snug out of the box with a thin sock. I prefer to wear a thicker sock while hunting. I have worn them off and on for a few hours now and the boots seem to be fine with no break in period necessary. I think I should have no problem with thicker socks, just may have to adjust how tight I lace them up. Since hunting is still 2 months away, I have not had the opportunity to test them in the cold or wet conditions, although I feel confident I will have no issues.

I bought a pair of these in the Made in USA of imported materials. The fit was good and the same as these Chinese made versions, so very good in quality and fit. Overall, these are great shoes and good through December hunting in Georgia.
