I'm nervous because my toes tickle the front of the boots at times. I won't know if its a problem until its too late to return them. I got a mens 7 and generally wear a women's 9. These will be my go-to easy-on, easy-off boots for running out into the snow to plow, get wood, etc. It will be great if they also turn out to be supportive enough for long snowshoes. Once again, I won't know until its too late to return them! This is the joy and pain of shopping remainders at the end of the season.

I bought 2 of these boots. One for my 13 year old son and one for my husband. They don't like these boots. They came very stiff and they thought they'd loosen up. They didn't. My husband could only stand to wear them 2 days because after the 2nd day he had a big sore and bruise on his leg from the boots. My son isn't on his feet as much as my husband so with tall thick socks he can tolerate his boots. They are warm but most of the padding is in the leg not the foot. And they retained moisture.

After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant to order these boots . That said, so far I'm very pleased with them. To answer question asked, there is 400 g of Thinsulate in these particular boots. I have only had these boots for about 2 weeks but I find the sizing to be pretty accurate, given the fact there's quite a bit of insulation. My feet are average width, if anything little wide and I find my feet fit well in these boots. I expect over time they will become broken in and become even more comfortable.

I bought these boots to replace my arctic sport muck boots which were cracking and make my feet sweat horribly. These boots are made and breathe very well. I use them for ranch work every day in freezing temps of up to -40 and they have kept my feet very warm through out the day while shoveling snow, chopping ice, etc. On very cold days just put on some heavy wool socks and your feet stay nice and toasty.

I needed one size larger than my normal boot size and I had to return the first pair and order one size up. They are comfortable but when the temp. is below 10 degrees F. or below they start to get very stiff ... a bit like having thick boards strap to your feet! They will be OK in wet slushy snow but then I will not need the extra insulation they advertise!

Stiff, heavy, painful to wear even though I bought a size up.
