Beautiful ski jacket. Roomy enough for extra layer underneath. Warm and cozy. Great quality. Recommend.

I got the Heather grey color and it looks very nice. The removable faux fur hood liner is a bit bulky, so I am glad I can easily take it off. I am 5'4 and about 135 lbs, I got the size 10 in petite and it fits perfect. I plan to wear it skiing, so there is plenty of room for a couple of light layers. I have not yet worn it on the slopes, so can't speak to the warmth, but Obermeyer is a quality brand that I expect will work great. It only has the 2 front hip zip pockets and an inside pocket located just under the left side zipper.

I bought this for a cold (0 degree F) snowshoeing hike into a cabin wearing a backpack and pulling a sled. I was hoping for something that would breathe well and keep me warm. It did the job. I got the blue color and it's gorgeous! I got a lot of compliments on it. I was warm enough when hiking with just a base layer that I needed to unzip the coat. I took the fur off for the sportier activities, but put it back on for wearing around the city. I bought the size on the size chart to fit my bust measurement and I could have easily sized down one or two sizes. I kept it to wear with heavy layers, but doubt I'll ever need much layering as the jacket is so warm itself. I'm short and heavier (5'3" and 180 with a larger chest). I bought a 16 based on chest and waist measurement and there was a lot of room in the hips and stomach for me even though I carry my weight in the stomach. I like where the jacket hits on my hip, but it is on the shorter size for someone tall. The arms are long for me - if they had a petite in stock, I'd go for that in the future. The hood is way too big on me. I have trouble with hats fitting right, so if you have a small head, be prepared for the hood to fall over your eyes. You can snug it down, but with the fur, it is still blinding. The jacket has double cuffs with a really soft fleece that fit in my ski gloves well with loose enough outer cuffs to pull over the glove gauntlet. The fleece lining of the pockets is my favorite part - very cozy and keeps my hands warm in 30 degree weather without gloves.

This is a great coat for the really frigid temps we have been having. Perfect for on piste skiing.
Ordered one size up from usual, wanted room for additional layers and it fits great.

This jacket fits perfectly. It is nice and warm yet fitted so you don't look like the marshmallow woman. Fur on hood snuggles your neck when the hood is down which is warming and also makes you look like a Russian princess. The collar and cuff areas inside are some sort of softer fleece which feels great. Overall whoever designed this coat was thinking and did a lot of nice details.

I was looking for a new ski coat and I am so excited about this one! I have the blue color and it is shiny and dressy but super comfortable. The wrists are super cozy fleece and the sleeves are long - I have long arms so that is important to me. I love the length - it hits just above my "saddle bags." I am slender on top and debated between the 6 and 8 - and I agree that this runs a little small. Once I have several layers underneath, the 8 will be perfect.

I've been looking for a warm and versatile jacket for this winter. I wanted to love this but it really isn't versatile. First, as another review said the metal Brandi g plate on the sleeve seems awkward... and too apt to catch on something. Next, I'm a petite woman and ordered a regular size but this jacket was really short on me. I'm not looking for a parka but this barely touched the top of my jeans when I tried it on. The deal breaker for me was the fur on the hood. It's HUGE. You can take it off, but it will take you 10 minutes to button it back on. I can see the buttons eventually becoming loose and a problem if you leave the fur on. Finally, there are only two pockets. Based on the original retail and description of this jacket I was really expecting better. I also ordered according yto my measurements and feel like I'd only be able to comfortably wear a base layer under it. So if you want to wear it around town with a sweater or something underneath, order a size up.

Beautiful well-made jacket, interesting fabric, but I had to return it as they style just didn't fit my shape and the hood with the fur was way too large for my smallish head and face.
