A bucket of gloves sits by my back door since gardening is my hobby. Typically I blow through the seams of cotton gloves within a week. The nitrile coated gloves last a little longer but I consider them totally disposable. These gloves have remained on the top of the pile since I receivd them two months ago. They have withstood the rigors of my gardening. Need I say more… They are very comfortable although the fingers seem to be a little bit long. I'm wearing a size small and typically I buy medium size gloves for women.

These are Carhartt's and they always deliver long wear and are great for doing any tough job in the dirt, moving rocks or barn work. The rubber finger tips and palm's are perfect for protecting my hands and helping me to grasp things.

I am not gentle on weeds, so yard work is not gentle on gloves at my house. These should last quite well.
Material is thick with a wonderful, ergonomic fit - soft and snug along the wrist/back of hand, slides on very easily and stays in place. The grip part IS thick, so a little stiff as far as ease of dexterity goes, but does provide a solid grip on items while working - either on plants or gardening tools. Nice to have a pair of gloves that truly fit my small hands - even the fingers fit (and don't have a 1/2" extra material flopping at the ends of each fingertip!).

I loved these gloves immediately! Unfortunately they run big. The XS were almost perfect except they were 1/2 inch too small and the S/M are just the opposite. I went with the latter since I needed these for moving and having a 1/2" of webbing between fingers could be hazardous (if I can't fully grip something).

A compact, rugged pair of work gloves...provides protection and traction. Just what I was looking for.
