Finger trigger flips blade out halfway, but then you have to use the thumb stud to open the rest of the way. Action is not smooth at all. Liner lock sticks making it difficult to close. I returned the knife.

Check out the Ruko high visibility knife if you are looking for an inexpensive basic folder. The blade is not as thick and is not partially serrated, but everything else is better. It currently costs $5 less as well. This Ruko comes in black, orange, yellow, and 4 camouflage designs.
