Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hillary from Michigan on Wednesday, May 3, 2017I ordered these online based on reviews. They're a solid running shoe and I haven't had a problem after using them the past week and a half. They do run 0.5-1 size large; I ordered them in a size that is usually snug and they're quite roomy. They also have a larger platform than I'm used to having in a running shoe.

Reviewed by Tina from Seattle on Thursday, March 9, 2017Nice running shoes, love the colour. Very comfortable. The only complaint is that they look a little bulky when worn. But great for running.
Reviewed by Rae from Florida on Friday, February 10, 2017I found these to be super heavy and the inside was super flat, with no arch support. I use them to mow the lawn or for other dirty jobs, even though they are new. I didn't realize how unsupportive they were or I'd have returned them
Verified Buyer Reviewed by OC Chicky from Ocean Pines MD on Thursday, February 2, 2017These shoes are nice looking but very stiff, ok for a hiker but not a running shoe.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Average foot from Tx on Tuesday, August 23, 2016I got these a month ago and have been really impressed with the quality and comfort. I found them to run about 1/2 size large, but don't mind the extra wiggle room. Grabbed them for about $22 bucks and feel like I pretty much stole them. Good support on uneven terrain, and I was able to hose them off to good result after getting into mud. The tread shed mud and rocks well during the hike. They're durable enough that they should last me a good couple years, which is pretty good considering the abuse I commit against my shoes on the trail. I would say these are just as good as trail runners I've paid $100+ for.
The factory insole is flattish so if you need med-high arch support, you'll want to get a pair to fit your specific needs. I don't think lack of arch support should detract from the rating. Everyone has different arch support needs and expecting a shoe to fit YOUR arch perfectly is a bit unreasonable. Most shoes come with a basic insole with a slight arch or even no arch at all. I personally find high arch support causes changes to my gait that make me under pronate and experience foot fatigue and pain. I put a pair of my medium support insoles in these and they feel perfect.
This is my first product from Pacific Trail and I won't hesitate to buy more of their products in the future.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by thomas from Oklahoma on Monday, July 18, 2016We had to buy some arch support insoles to make it feel better to her, but shopping for shoes online, I have found, to be virtually impossible unless you have had the shoes before and already know what you are getting BEFORE you order them.
