Customer Reviews Of:
Pacific Trail Sequoia Hiking Boots (For Men)

Closeouts. Pacific Trail Sequoia hiking boots are light enough for day hiking and supportive enough for overnight use. The well-cushioned design supports the ankle and has reinforcements at the toe and heel for impact protection.

I read previous reviews that said these boots had ample room in the toe box, so I ordered a pair (they only came in medium). I wear a 10.5 D in regular street shoes, so I thought the 11.5 M in this boot would work, but they were still too snug, so I had to send back. That was unfortunate because they appeared to be well-made boos and a good value.

As always I received great service from Sierra Trading Post. The boots were great just what I needed to replace my old white tennis shoes. The boots looked good and felt great and I wore them extensively since I received them 10/20/16. This morning 10/27/2016, I awoke early for a road trip to Florida. I put the boots on and tighten the laces and one of the fabric lace eyes shredded and was unable to correctly tie the boots for use. I then improvised and punched an eyelet hole in side of the boot to put the lace thru and trekked on.

I have bought different styles and brands but this one is true to size and fit. Very comfortable and perfect for the high desert. These boots were reviewed by others as to narrow in the toe not true for the pair I purchased. I would purchase this item again.

This is not an expedition boot. I know Pacific Trails boots and shoes really well, since I have many pairs now. I wear a size 9M. I buy these as 9M. The fit is dead on. I get a roomy toe box and a relatively tight heel. There is almost no break-in period, except compressing the tongue into its final resting place. Pacific Trail boots are best for around the town walking and light trail hiking. The foot bed is a bit stiffer than sneakers (a little stiffer than a converse foot bed) but they are basically pumped up sneakers. At STP prices, they are a great shoe for everyday use.

Very cheap boot.and i am not talking about price. No support at all. i bought them for a day boot to wear back and forth to work and just ok for that. Very wide boot. Lacing system is a joke. oh well. Dont think they will last long before they fall apart.

I was looking for a pair of low cost boots to kick around-in; didn't think that the quality would matter. So, I purchased these on sale. The pros: low cost and true to size (roomy around toes). The con: the lacing-loop tore off after just a few days of easy walking, nothing strenuous at all. So, while inexpensive I just can't give them a good recommendation.
