I like this shoe a lot. It is very minimal, comfy, super light. However, I agree with others that this version may be a bit smaller than the previous. However, my preferred size 10 still fits just fine. I use this shoe casually in the summer, and for light hiking and trail running. A great minimal shoe that is not quite as minimal as FiveFingers or similar.

I own a couple of other Minimus shoes from NB. Out of the box this shoe runs noticeably small. Order a half size up and possibly even a full size up. If you use inserts, these are not the shoes for you. The insert is glued in and is not removable like my other Minimus shoes. Wearing it, cushioning is there but minimally so. It is light and the tread pattern and rubber used is grippy. It's been raining a lot recently but I haven't slipped on wet asphalt or concrete. The only other thing I don't like is the collar. It's ringed by a closed-cell foam of some sort. This makes the collar quite stiff and might be uncomfortable to some folks. Not sure why NB decided on this instead of just a rubber backing like on my Minimus MT1010.

Once I broke them in (which was only a week of wearing them around the house and around town) I was able to go do some fairly rugged hiking without any foot problems.

I got these for hiking in the mountains. I wore them around the house and city for a week to break them in, and then went hiking without any pain in my feet.

Extremely light weight. They are on the snug side of true to size. They fit, but no extra room, length or width wise. The sole is not super spongy so you will feel the surface you are running on.

I tried on an 8.5 at the store in Reno, and they felt too big (I usually wear 8) - a little long, a bit wide. I ordered an 8 and my toes hit the end and they felt too narrow. I have not tried many trail running shoes, but these felt boxy, flat, something. My normal running shoes have a much more form fitting, foot holding, fit.

Comfortable. Padded as much as expected. Nice and light. Great for fast hikes. Rock Stop works exceptionally well.

I've worn many and various NB running shoes and these are the worst. 10.5/D NB shoes have for me perfectly for years and these are at least .5 too small. I understand the "minimus" concept but I'd rather go barefoot.

Too small and wanted more cushion. Returned.

I haven't worn these enough to comment on performance, durability or long-term comfort. I can say that they seem to be slightly small in both length and width. Consider purchasing 1/2 size larger than your normal. They are extremely light -- called "minimus" for a reason -- but the "rock stop" soles are tough enough to prevent bruising.
