I bought these for hiking. I've taken them out on an 8 mile hike so far. No blisters! They are super-light, vent well, and have great traction for off road terrain. I've never had a pair of Saucony before, but what prompted me to try them was the low-drop (heel-to-toe is only 4mm difference). It allows a more natural gait where you are not pounding your heels, but walking with a mid- or fore-foot strike. I've been using zero or low drop shoes for a couple of years now and when i got back to the "normal' high-drop shoes I feel a strain in my forefoot, feel "wobbly" and my arches hurt afterwards. Other low drop shoes I recommend are Altra's and some Keen's.

I'm normally a 8.5 in sauconys. At another site I ordered this shoe in a 9. It fits a bit short. At STP I ordered the same shoe in a different color and the 9 feels a bit long. Keeping both as the shoe I like the traction. I'll just wear different socks with each pair.

I liked these so much I ordered a second pair. I was hesitant to buy them initially because they looked heavy. They are surprisingly light, have great traction, and are very comfortable. They were true to size.

I normally wear a 7- 7.5 shoe but had to return for a SIZE 8. Exchange was super easy and a few bucks for shipping though! Overall a rugged shoe with great deep lugged soles. I use for P90x, aerobics, weight lifting, plyo, kettlebell workouts. But these would be great on a trail run.

I did order a half size up and they fit perfectly. I find these to be very comfortable with lots of cushioning. Glad I bought them, as I usually buy Salomon brand

I typically wear a 6.5 and this shoe fit to size. I have narrow feet and ankles, but need an ample toebox. This shoe fits the bill. I've now run with them on dirt, gravel, and rocky trails (2-7 miles at at time) and am so pleased. I have no pain anywhere after my runs. They have incredible traction and a nice spring propelling me forward. That said, the cushioning is wonderful as well. If you like Saucony road runners, you will LOVE these trail shoes.

I have worn Saucony for over 25 years because of their wide toe box, narrow heel and incredible support. These did not disappoint. Not to mention the colors rock!
