Ruko Trapper Folding Knife

Closeouts. Ruko's Trapper folding knife makes an excellent starter for a young one's first knife or a great addition to your own collection. Two plain-edge blades of tough, 440A stainless steel tuck into the handsome Delrin® handle, which is tastefully highlighted by a brass liner and handle pins.

The knife was a little thicker than I was expecting, but I haven't carried a two blade knife in quite a few years, so maybe it's just me. It seems to be put together well. I'm not sure about how the blades are sharpened. I am not a knife sharpening expert, so maybe the blades are exactly as they are supposed to be...... I was going to keep it, but it wasn't going in my pocket when my wife saw it. She really liked it, especially since she is not a fan of locking blades. It is now hers.

I have a lot of nicer knives (buck and benchmade). I like decent inexpensive knives too to keep in my car, garage, etc. Overall this knife makes a nice first impression. nice weight. feels solid. blades are sharp. time will tell how well it wears. probably can't be beat for the price.

I bought several of these for my use and for gifts. These are well made knives and have two of the three most useful blade shapes for my typical applications.
