I found these to be a quality product and would have been very happy with them, but I will be using them for river crossings on a backpacking trip, and they were a little bit on the large side, although I ordered my usual size, and I am afraid I might walk out of them with the force of the water. I ordered another similar pair of water shoes by Body Glove and found them to fit much better.

I bought these shoes to use for aquatic fitness classes. They lasted about 2 months, wearing them an average of twice a week. The mesh part around the heels ripped and the lacing system detached itself from the front of the shoes. I also wore a hole through the sole within the 2 month period. They may work fine for surfside or poolside but not really designed for active wear.

The details say to size up if you are in between sizes, but I could have gotten away with going two sizes down. I'm an 8.5, ordered a 9, and these are huge!!! With that said, they do seem like good quality.

I have not had an opportunity to wear them yet, but I purchased for using while kayaking and paddleboarding. I needed something more than flip flops for these activities and I think these will work well. I ordered in a size 9 and typically wear a 9-10 shoe, depending on the style. I figured I could go on the smaller side since I would not be wearing them with socks and it seems to be a perfect fit. I'm looking forward to wearing.

These shoes do run large but mine were clearly worn and damaged before being sold to me. There was a scuff on the toe and the shoelaces are tied together to form the loop and the rough ends were hanging out. Shame on you STP! I hope I'm not to be charged return shipping for this.
