One of the lace eyelet loops broke the third time I wore them. Other than that the boot fit well and required no break in time.

First time wearing these, hiked about 5 miles. Very comfortable! Nice quality. They don't look big and bulky which is nice...fits my wider foot well.

I'm pretty sure the sizing is correct, that is the Euro sizing, as with the other reviews the 44 1/2 Euro is a US 10.5-11, not a US 10 (as Zamberlan claims). I'm still trying to break these in, when I put the shoe on it's comfortable, but walking around too much it gets annoying and my feet hurt. The mid shoe seems narrow while the toe box seems too spacious (btw I have thin feet and never needed a wide size) they may just need to be stretched out and worn in a bit. The style is great and the waterproof capabilities appear to work. No other reviews said anything about the discomfort so I'll just have to wait a bit.

i use these for work - not heavy enough for serious packing but very good vibram soles and the waterproofing is great. very comfortable and look good.

My husband loved these boots but they were too wide & he likes a tighter fit on walking boots.

Excellent quality, very soft leather, made for a gentle footed hiker ( not me ) who does not abuse their boots. They are normal width to narrow ( again not for me ). They run 1/2 size larger ( at least the pair I got ).Soles are good. Boots are very comfortable. I returned mine because they obviously are not match for me but I do have to give them credit.

Just received these after some very quick shipping. Hiked with them on Saturday for 8 miles. They are great. Lightweight, good support. They are pretty roomy. I actually added another set of insoles under the insole that came in the boots, but this is good way to add a little cushion. I love them and the look like they should last.

Like others, I had difficulty settling into the right size. In other European shoes I wear a 44 (or 44.5) and in US size I wear a 10.5 and this is fairly standard if you consult other conversion charts. However, Zamberlan sizes the 44 as a 9.5 (it is printed on the shoe tongue) and the 45 as a 10.5. After trying on both sizes, I ended up with the 44, even though according to Zamberlan I would not normally fit in a US 9.5.

The boots are light, not overly rugged, but a good value with the deep discount. I suppose one benefit of the strange size is that they ended up in Sierrra Trading Post inventory, if you can find the right size.

Boots performed well on a week trip in the Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Canyons of the Acients and Four Corners area.

My feet measure size 9.5 US and usually I wear size 10 boots. The Zamberlan size guide for these says the equivalent size is 44.5, but I found that too large and went with size 44's instead. So the sizing is pretty accurate. Generous toe room for my medium-wide feet and secure fit for my narrow heels.

I like the vibram sole and that these don't have so much mesh on them; for most conditions I dayhike in, mesh is a durability problem and accumulates grass seeds in summer / fall. Light weight and flexible day-hiking boots.

I finally wore out my 22 year old Vasque's after three resoles. Bought these for walking/light hiking with GF. They are great! I wear a EU 46 in boots. These fit as expected with a generous toe box and somewhat narrow heel, much like the old Vasque last. They are sturdy, with good support, yet are surprisingly light. GF approves of them with jeans after hiking, which is a plus. "At least they don't look like you just came off Mt. Whitney" were pretty much her exact words....

Bottom Line: Great boot if they fit your foot shape. I'm very pleased with the value provided at this price point.
