This jacket is super thin. I would not recommend it for mid-winter or powder riding. There is also no powder skirt. It is long in the arms/waist and slim fitting, not bulky so that is nice. I bought this jacket for the slim fit but will be returning it because I want something warmer and with a powder skirt...

Bought this jacket for one single reason - to hike in the rain. Read the description very carefully, considered its qualifications. However, after the first rainy hike I was shivering and wet. It leaked along the seems, in the sleeves, at the back. The only dry spot was my head - it looks like the lining inside the hood is different from the rest of the jacket. To me it's wasted money - I have plenty of jackets. And I wouldn't say it is flattering. So, as a waterproof jacket I do not recommend it. Neither as a warm jacket - insulation is minimal.
Along with this jacket I bough Marmot waterproof pants - that was a hit!

But it didn't fit. Bought an XL(I'm a 16/18) and Couldn't get it closed to zip. Arms were long enough. I just loved this and wish it came in a 1X or XXL. Too bad.
