Like all Ecco products, these boots are great. Fit well, good soles and keep your feet warm. Great to wear to work and save for the trip home or for cold days shoveling snow.

These boots were as described -- beautifully made. They were unexpectably good-looking for insulated, waterproof footware. This was a present for our grandson and I think he will wear them for years.

This review is based only on the initial inspection of my just received ECCO Roxton snow boots and not actual snow or cold weather use. First I received extremely quick shipping from Sierra Trading Post. At first look, out of the box, these boots look just like the pictures on the website, appear to be well made, the seams are tight and even, the lacing system sturdy, and the materials and components high quality. I normally wear US 9 1/2 to 10 shoes and ordered Euro size 44 as the best fit according to most conversion charts. I was afraid the boots would be a little too big, but trying them on with heavy hiking socks and ski socks, they seemed just the right size. Lacing them up took a little while, but with snug laces, the fit was comfortable and the tongue felt good again my lower shin. The wool lining looks good, maybe not quite as thick as I imagined it would, but adequate. Two items that do concern me, 1) not much arch support, and 2) the heel area seems a little big for my narrow heel, even with thick socks. (It may be my foot shape, others may find the heel fit ok.) I intend to use these boots only for short walks and standing in snow so 2) may not be too much of a problem, but, 1) will be. Perhaps an insole or insert will help and I hope not to loose the nice wool lined insole in the process of fixing this. Overall, I'm very happy with what I've seen so far.

I have about 100 pairs of shoes, including 10+ boots, and 10+ ecco shoes, and my opinion is It is valuable to get this ecco boots.Nice exterior, soft sole(better traction in snow), easy to take off(because of the great shoe band design). The only thing I think it can improve is the insulate material in the shoes, the feel of down is similar to UGG, but it would be better if ecco could attach some softer and more comfortable down inside.

Wow! I am delighted with these boots so far. Not only are they 'handsome' boots, they seem very well made. The stitching looks bullet-proof; leather and Gore-Tex are great materials. I am a size 10 US, ordered EU size 44, and they fit well.
I checked out reviews of waterproof snow boots on line prior to purchasing Ecco boots. For some reason, Ecco boots aren't included in the standard line-up, that lists Sorel, Columbia, Kamik, Northface, etc.
The Sorel boots received funky reviews owing to durability. Since Columbia Footwear owns the Sorel brand, and seems responsible for demise of quality in Sorel boots, I was reluctant to purchase Columbia made boots. I initially purchased some Kamik boots, but returned them after one of the lacing hooks pulled out of the boot the second time I laced them up.
The Ecco boots are a little more costly than others, but they seem worth it. I have only used them a few times, so I can't comment on durability, but I am truly delighted with the look, the fit, and the performance so far.

These boots are well made, exactly what I expected from Ecco. They seemed to be a slightly bigger fit than my other Ecco shoes, probably to accommodate heavy winter socks, but not enough to be a problem. Better support than many boots and very warm.

Got these for my husband who hates to shop. Ecco shoes are all he has worn for years, and these boots have the same high quality, comfort, and great fit that he has become accustomed to. He especially likes the clever way the tongue is anchored in place (with just enough wiggle room) from the inside. Best dog walking boots ever!
