Daiwa Legalis Spinning Reel
Closeouts. Durable enough for saltwater but ready for any water with fish, Daiwa's Legalis Spinning Reel offers narrow, rigid aluminum Hardbodyz construction for lightweight strength. A corrosion-resistant ABS aluminum spool and Digigear components deliver dependable speed and power.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by PK from Wisconsin on Tuesday, August 2, 2016My tenth Daiwa spinning reel. I have had several for 10 plus years and no issues. The Legalis is light and smooth. The metal body is nice and rigid and makes a huge difference as compared to a composite body; especially on the larger reel sizes, no twisting or sloppiness. Not a huge fan of the gold handle, but at this price I can deal with it.
Reviewed by Matthew from NYC on Sunday, July 31, 2016I returned this item. There was something about the reel, a cheapness that made me question it's durability. Several important parts were made of stiff, cheap plastic. These parts (on the handle stem) experience a lot of strain and stress during retrieve. I was not comfortable using this reel with the weakness.
