Comfortable shoe. Lots of room in the toe area. The laces cinch up instead of tie. They come undone while running. I need to figure out how to fix this.

I've used these for running (on trails), walking and long hikes. They are both everyday shoes and performance shoes. I'm in love with the no-tie lace system. Couldn't be happier with these!

The lacing system on this shoe leaves a ton to be desired. They failed early due to small diameter I suppose, and then good luck getting new laces in these tiny eyelets. EPIC FAIL. Standard laces won't even begin to thread these eyelets and good luck modifying. I'll never buy a product similar to this design.

Nice looking for sure but surprisingly comfy! So much foot support
The grip on the sole was exactly what I was hoping for
    Great Buy!

I like Salomon brand shoes. I love the quick lace system. For the most part they fit my feet well. I wear these for everyday casual and wish there were some colors I liked better, but will still wear them because they are comfortable.

I wanted a general purpose shoe that I could wear to work as well go for walks and light hiking. The shoes were immediately comfortable and needed no breaking in. The only thing that I was hesitant about was the Salomon lacing system. It took me a while to adapt and appreciate the quick tightening of putting the shoes on and adjusting the laces. Now it seems very easy to adjust the tension. The small illustration of how to adjust and store the tension "buckle" could be larger and little more detailed. I actually went online to watch a video on adjustment but most of the videos were homemade, poorly done and many were about the snowboarding boots that Salomon sells. Salomon would benefit of producing some promotional videos on their product line and the benefits of the lacing system

Durable tread, lightweight, neutral cushioned. and very flexible for a Salmon that tend to be pretty stiff. Quick lacing system is great. Exactly what I was looking for.

Slightly more responsive and better for aggressive trail running. I've never been a fan of Salomon's lacing system, but it works for some.

I've used Salomon trail shoes in the past and been happy, with these not so much. I use them for work where I stand on my feet almost all day. The ortholite insole is flimsy with no arch support. The footbed is very hard. Combine those together and I've got heel pain halfway through the day. Unfortunate.

I put in some Superfeet green insoles but it makes the shoes too tight on the upper because the tongue is tied to the footbed via elastic straps on the side. I'll have to find some different insoles that are thinner, with better arch support and have some better cushioning.

The tongue is connected to the footbed via some elastic straps. I did find a spot on the inside of my left arch that seems to have been rubbed a little tender by the elastic band. Hopefully this will lessen with break-in.
