These hiking shoes have proven to be waterproof after walking through rain soaked/heavy dew grass. The suede toes do get wet, but nothing has soaked through to my socks. Runs true to size, but even though they don't feel too wide they definitely look like it. Shoes have a very boxy, brick look to them and the footbed feels firm, rather than cushiony. Still for the price, these seem like solid, durable shoes that will keep your feet dry on walks/casual hikes.

These are comfortable shoes for the most part. They run a little wide but wearing 2 pairs of socks took care of that issue. The only problem was that you can slip especially near streams. So be very careful. Breathable even with 2 pairs of socks.

I was looking for a hiking shoe without mesh this shoe looked good but too heavy and wouldn't want to hike in them as no give in the sole. I ordered a size 8 thinking to wear a heavier sock - this size 8 was too large does have a wide toe box.

These shoes are very well constructed, but the fit is poor. I would say they run large and wide - not really to size. I wear an 8, and had to return for a 7.5 and they still slip off the heel even with heavy hiking socks. For the price - if they fit you - they are great.

Runs one full size small. Ordered a 5 for my daughter and they were smaller then her hi tec 4 hiking boots from last year. Super bummer since we're leaving for Yosemite in two days.

WAYYYY too wide for even wide feet. I ordered these because of my wide feet but these shoes were like gunboats. Can't imagine anyone being able to fill them. Otherwise seem to be of good quality as HiTecs are usually.

These hiking shoes are comfortable and sturdy however the suede is 2 different types and colors. One is smooth and dark and one is nubby and light. I ordered my walking shoe size of 7.5 and they are extra roomy so I wear them with 2 pairs of socks. I would say they run big. I would have returned them for size 7 and maybe even the same color suede however I needed them for a hiking trip in South Dakota. I also tried to submit an image but it wasn't working correctly.
