The quality of the boot is fine. I have to return mine since they are too small and narrow for me. Feel more like shoes than boots. No room at all for heavier sock.

I have numerous other shoes in size 39 that fit perfectly, but these are much more narrow and tight on my feet. Too bad because I really like them and it is a good brand.

Ordered this for my finicky and still growing 12 year old. She has thanked me profusely for these, which if you know almost teenagers, says a lot... She says they are comfy, warm, easy on/off thanks to the zipper, and keeps this puddle jumper's feet dry. These boots also have a very slim appearance, which is rare for snow boots. our friends have bought these on our recommendation and also super happy with it. Can't go wrong.

I vary between a US size 8 and 8.5 depending on the manufacturer but am consistently a Euro 39. The size 39 fit well with a regular thickness wool sock, but would be tight with a thick sock. The first time I tried these on I thought the 39 was too small. It turns out the length is fine (my big toe does not hit the front) and I simply was not used to a boot that fit my M width foot so snugly (bodes well for stability). Even though the faux fur collar is on the outside only the entire inside of the shoe is lined in a non-itchy wool. I could easily and comfortably wear these without socks. I own another taller pair of snow boots but was looking for a pair that looked less "rugged" and "clunky". I originally tried these on in a local comfort shoe store and later saw them on STP. I would normally support small business but the STP price was too good to pass up -- $50 less.

These are my first snow boots, and I couldn't be happier. They zip up snugly over my base layers and thick socks, without being too tight, and they've kept my feet dry and warm through several snowdrifts now and an awful lot of slush. Cozy, comfortable, and very practical. The treads track a lot of packed slush indoors, but that's to be expected, I suppose.
