Rab Vapour-Rise Lite Cap - Ear Flaps, Tricot Lined (For Men)
Closeouts. Give your head a little treat: Rab's Vapour-Rise Lite cap offers do-it-all performance and comfort from chilly spring to blustery fall. The light, durable Pertex® exterior fends off weather, the lining is a soft, wicking brushed tricot and mini ear flaps fold down for protection when needed.
Reviewed by Trader x from Eastern PA on Monday, June 26, 2017I usually wear a medium size Giro ski helmet and a small size in this is fine. It also has an elastic hem and a flex cord cinch (neither needed for me). I could also layer this over a lightweight beanie hat to make this cold weather adaptable. The outer layer is quite water resistant as described. Since the brim is soft and semi-moldable, I could put this easily in my pants or jacket pocket and use it as needed. It may not look as good as a regular baseball cap but a winner in my book for its versatility. BTW, the ear flap could be tucked away easily and full function is maintained. Liked it so much I got my son a blue one as well.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by peg from NH on Friday, May 5, 2017I should have read the description more carefully. I thought it was a fleece lined waterproof hat I could wear in cold rain but it is paper thin, light weight tight fitting hat. Almost like a cycling cap.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Cape Cod Caper from Massachusetts on Tuesday, April 4, 2017This is a great cap, exceeds my expectations. It is light, water repellent and warmer than you'd think. The brom has some kind of flexable wire that holds its shape but ypu can bend it to fit your needs or style. Depending on the angle you put ut on, the flaps can be pulled down over your ears, folded up, or scrunched up.
I bought size small, and it is quite form fitting, so I don't need to use the adhustment straps in the back, but there is an elastic at the bottom of the back also.
I recommend this cap!

Verified Buyer Reviewed by WIO from Michigan on Thursday, December 22, 2016Like most Rab things I've tried this was small. i usually wear a large but it was tight on me and returned. The XL is a good fit. it's comfortable, feels good and is warm. You can fold the flaps up or under when you get too warm. The cord on the back makes for east adjustment on the fly. The brim is rolled to stiffen in and make it hold it's shape. I like this but some might not.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ron from Wyoming on Saturday, December 10, 2016Nice "little" hat. I ordered an extra large size but what I got was about equivalent to a medium size. Too tight for me. I'll give it to my 11 year old grandson--maybe it will fit his small head. Also, the ear flaps don't cover much.
