I've had two pairs of size Large/short sonicdry waders and they are phenomenal. My second pair has lasted 3 years of fishing 120 plus days a year. These are amazing waders, however the ones being sold here on Sierra as a Large/short have a size 7-8 boot foot. These sonicdry waders on Sierra are manufactured wrong.

I'm 6'2" 195lbs with a sz 12 shoe and I purchased the sz XL SonicDry Waders. I've worn them out twice and they fit great. The booties are a tad snug but I think I could still wear a pair of wool socks if needed.

I know the product from lots of reviews. After reading all reviews I bought one. The product is really good. Sizing is perfect for me (MS), but if your shoe size is 10 (My shoes are 9) probably the socks will be a bit tight.

These are my first breathable waders with booties. I've got about a dozen days on the river in them and love them. I spent all day fishing the Klickitat and never really broke a sweat in them. They really breath well compared to some of my other "breathable" rain gear. I'm also a short guy so I got lucky when STP had these in exactly my size. Fit is great!

I'm giving them 4 stars for a couple reasons. First are the pockets. Good pockets but they are ALL in the chest area and all overlap. So if you toss things into one pocket and then another and another before you know it you've got piles of stuff stacked on top of one another and a huge amount of bulk.

You basically have to decide what you really need with you and choose which of the pockets you are going to use. You can't really use more than two of the pockets at any one point and time without creating too much bulk. I'd have like to see a bit more lateral separation or vertical separation in the different pockets so that I could spread out the stuff I carry across my chest and more to the sides. I imagine a pack or separate bag will solve that as it's really just a minimal issue.

The second problem I had was the loop of cord tied into the strap for your forceps. I lost my forceps on day one when the cord fell out... I found them a few hours later on the shore luckily, but was annoyed that the knot from the factory was so poor it came out and nearly cost me my forceps. I tied it back on and put a real knot in them and they've been perfect since.

Overall super dry, very breathable. The socks are comfy and fit my feet well. The shoulder straps adjust perfectly and the waist belt is very comfy. I can see using these waders for many years to come.

Redington made a great pair of waders. Unfortunately, it seems that these should be marked as 2nds based on the foot sizing. I ordered the larges, which are supposed to have a foot size of 9-11. I wear a 10.5 usually, but these had my toes curled up when I tried them on with a thin sock. I wouldn't have been able to get a heavy wool sock on for wading in cooler water. So if you have smaller feet, they will probably work for you, but they felt like they were probably a size 7-9, instead of 9-11. Maybe I just got a weird pair. Sierra was great about the return!

These are excellent waders so far with the quality of materials and craftsmanship being similar to my Patagonia & Simms wading gear. I bought these to keep in my truck along with a fly rod & reel for those impromptu trips on the water right after work or when spotting a great small creek on the way to or from a hike on the Peninsula or in the Cascades. I have since worn them exclusively since I first got them on. I'm 5'11'' @ 200 LBS and the size large was perfect. The cut is more athletic but not restrictive at all. These look as sharp as they feel rugged too. I've scrambled over rocks & logs in them and they held strong. Finally a wader that comes with a solid belt and great belt loop placement so it doesn't back out everytime you unbuckle it. The fleece lining in the pockets are very nice and the gravel guards fit nice and tightly. The neoprene booties are the perfect fit for my size 10 feet. With the deal flyer this ended up as another STP no brainier deal. Please keep the quality fly fishing gear coming. I'm very happy with these. If you wanna better look, find me on the Sol Duc swinging streamers and staying fashionably warm. Redington makes another slam dunk for the price just like their rods.
