The previous reviews are all accurate in these pants being terribly sized. I have large legs and hips and the 14 is fairly well sized there but the waist is just as wide as the widest part of the hips so there is way too much room. I'm not even sure these will be able to be cinched with a belt because they are so extremely large. The material has nice stretch and they seem to be water-resistant as advertised.

Sadly, I had to return them. I ordered a 10 and should have ordered an 8. I loved them and wish I realized they run slightly big. I am going to order again as soon as they are in stock. They were really comfy. Perfect for the high desert. SO bummed they were too big.

Snuggles to your body while allowing complete flexibility. I still haven't worn them in hot weather...

Yes, these run big, (I normally wear a 12, bought a 10 -- they fit) but they are super awesome on the trail. I had to wade through a river in these and they were dry within minutes (too bad I couldn't say the same about my boots!) These pants are light, breathable, wash up well, and dry fast. 'Nough said. When they become available again, I WILL buy more.

Great pants at a great price. Love the stretch. These work well for hiking.

I have a proportionally small waist compared to my hips (sigh) and these pants were a bit big in the waist. Overall, I would say the sizing is a bit on the big size as well.

Easily two full sizes too big based on their sizing chart (and no, I'm not confused about US vs UK sizing, but do make sure you are aware what you're getting). I'm 5'4, 150, 29" waist, and the 10 was so big on me I felt like I was playing dress up--seriously like a hand span between my waist and the pants'. They seem well made otherwise, but oy.

I bought these for traveling and wish I could have got 2 pairs/colors. Incredible price, great quality. Multiple large pockets that actually zip closed which is great for traveling. These do fit big- probably up a full size. I knew that when ordering and am happy with the fit. I normally fit in 18's as a loose comfortable fit. I ordered 16's and they fit looser than my 18's. I washed and dried them and they now fit perfectly. I love the material. Soft, lightweight, but enough to keep warm in 50 degree weather. Looks good with casual shirts and easy to dress up.

I have 44" hips, and ordered in a size 14 based on the other review. The 14s are a tad loose, I should have gone with the 12s based on the other review. Other than the problems with lack of accurate sizing information, these are really well constructed and all of the pockets have zipper closures (yay!). The fabric is comfortable and feels sturdy. I'll probably trade for the 12s to get a better fit.

if STP had put the correct info in the sizing, I would have known. Even in the waistband of the pants is says US size 14. (GAHHHH!)
