Agave Verona Curvy Skinny Jeans - High Rise (For Women)
Overstock. From a distance, Agave's Verona skinny jeans look like ordinary denim, but a blend of TENCEL®, cotton and Lycra® gives them unique flexibility and softness for unmatched comfort. The skinny-leg cut and high waist is tailored to flatter a curvy figure.
Reviewed by SJS from NYC on Wednesday, June 15, 2016Very, very tight -- at least the Tencel versions are. I bought these in a size 25, which is what I wear in the black stretch denim Agave Verona curvy jeans and in the high-waisted stretch Agave jeans. Those other jeans fit me well. But these I could barely get over my calves. They are incredibly tight in the calves (I'm not skinny but don't have especially muscular calves) and in the hips/butt/crotch -- I could barely button them. If you buy these, be sure to size up. I'm not going to bother, though, as I dislike the shiny Tencel fabric; I think it looks and feels cheap, and it looks like it would pick or rip easily.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Laura from New Paltz on Wednesday, June 15, 2016I'm not sure why they are called "curvy" they are slim-fit to me and tight... was hoping for slightly roomier legs than the average skinny jean, but these didn't seem like anything special to me
Reviewed by funkymama from New England on Tuesday, May 24, 2016I wear a 31 waist in many (most?) Agaves, but I order 32s in anything from them described as "skinny." So that's what I did with these. And the "Manhattan Stretch" (denim) color fits like a dream (with no muffin top!) and is very comfortable. Super flattering. ON THE OTHER HAND. The dark plum pair I was so excited to snag is unwearably tight. Muffin top, sausage legs, the works--like a bad breakfast buffet. So. Sad. The fabric and color are absolutely stunning. If size 33 were available, I might give 'em another try. It's possible that my very long legs are complicating matters somewhat, since on me these are quite cropped, but again it works fine in the denim color. Size up, ladies.
