Design and comfort exceded expectations. Prefer using lightweight sport sock. Have a chronic weak ankle from heel fracture surgery. The added elastic support inner sock is a benefit.

I had to look twice to make sure these were a woman's size 8 and not a man's. I usually wear a 71/2 to an 8 1/2 in running shoes, but these 8's were huge. Sadly they had to go back.

I had double knee replacement surgeries this year. My doctor recommended switching to sneakers/running shoes to "protect and cushion" my new knees to make sure they last a very long time. My first look was to Merrell because of its well-known level of comfort, structural assets, durability, and style. It also didn't hurt that I managed to find a pair included in an exceptional sale. My doctor and I are both pleased with the shoes, as are my knees and feet.

I bought these trail runners for jogging through the woods.
I love the feel and look of them so much that I wear them everywhere.

Pros and Cons. This is my second pair. I bought them again because they are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I walk a few times daily and other shoes don't do it for me. The catches are that the bottom/traction are very slick on a wet sidewalk and I had the traction wear down after 4 months last time (I wore them about 2-3 days a week on average during this period because I wore my snow boots and rain boots at times. I have never had a shoe wear down so fast or be that slick. But as I said, I bought a second pair because I can't beat the comfort level.

I wore these sneakers for the first time yesterday on a trail run and loved them. They are very comfortable. The elastic around the ankle bothered at first but after a few minutes of running I forgot about them. Shoes are roomy on the inside but not big. No toes rubbing against the side of shoes or bothersome seams. The soles are quite sticky and have great grip on rough terrain

I have never been a trail runner. I started a few weeks ago trying the trail and finished my first trail marathon this weekend in these shoes. No blisters! Excellent support! I bought another pair after my first run in them.

These are the perfect light hiking shoes. I usually wear five fingers so I was looking for something that were light but had a bit more protection from the rocks/roots. These fit the bill and look good too!
