I live in AZ red rock country so my runs are on rocky uneven terrain - most shoes get all cut up - big chunks cut away quick and but these are fantastic - long lasting, stable and no cuts yet after several months - they have a metal shank in them that makes a huge difference - these are fantastic shoes so I'm on line here getting a second pair - i just wish they weren't such a day-glo color - why do shoe companies make their shoes so ugly?

I'm very happy with my purchase. .i use them for rough terrain trail running and they have very good traction. Only wish they were waterproof.

This is the second pair of Montrail trail running I've ordered. The first pair are 2 years old and fit and comfort were good right from the start so I hoped these would be as good. They meet my expectations, very pleased with the consistent quality of fit and comfort.

I have worn Montrail shoes off and on for 12 years. Several models have been hit or miss, these fit great! These shoes fit true to size and have a great combination of cushion and support. I use them for trail running but also when I coach baseball.

Used them on a hike to local peak that included some scrambling. Nice traction and pretty good support for a rocky uneven trail. Seem very solidly made.

Nice shoes that are pretty true to size. I take 10 1/2 in shoes, 11 in Asics run shoes -- and 10 1/2 in these fit nicely. They are comfortable right out of the box; good looking, as well.

I like the fit (maybe a bit too roomy around the fingers), but I have somehow wide feet and it fits grest. I am also a big guy (lb250+) and it feels great with walking or light jogging.
    Will buy again !

I use these for work where I am on my feet all day. I have problems with the balls of my feet getting sore if standing in one spot too long. The gel in these seems to help. I have wide feet, these may be a bit narrow, but so far I really like them.

I use this to play softball. IMO, the shoe runs about 1/4-1/2 size big. I generally wear a 10 1/2, the 10 1/2 was to big, so called up STP, and they sent me a 10. The 10's fit much better. Shoe's midsole is a little firm, but my custom insole seems to help cushion some of the pounding my feet take on the hard infield.
