Aquaskin by Henri Pierre Elisa Winter Boots - Waterproof (For Women)

Closeouts. Fully waterproof, and featuring a salt- and calcium-stain-resistant finish, Aquaskin by Henri Pierre's Elisa winter boots invite you to hit the salted, snow-stricken streets without fear. A plush faux-fur lining makes these side-zip stunners feel extra fantastic on chilly days, and the traction outsole lifts you up on a 2" heel.

Product is defective. Heel on right boot tilts foot outward in such a manner that one cannot stand or walk on a hard surface. This item will go back and I will insist on COMPLETE REFUND INCLUDING SHIPPING. Also, these boot STINK of PLASTIC and inhaling the fumes feels unhealthy and makes me feel funny. Sierra Trading Post usually is a good deal; this is an exception. Obviously, they cannot try on every item to see whether it's manufactured correctly, and I am hoping they will not hold ME accountable for this situation by making ME pay for shipping. I will report once it is resolved on how well they handle it!

Sadly, I received a pair of boots with a 1" gouge in it. By the time I received the damaged boots, my size was gone so I could not replace them. I really liked these, but the gouge could not be fixed.

Normally I love Henri Pierre boots. I wear a size 9, and prefer wider than a typical medium width shoe, but wide shoes are generally too wide. Henri Pierre boots always fit perfect right out of the box and look classy. They tend to run slightly wide in the toe box which is great.

The Elisa however, runs short and narrow. Compared to my other boots in size 9, both Henri Pierre and other brands, they definitely appear to be at least a half size smaller and my toes are squished which has never been an issue with Henri Pierre boots before. More importantly though, the 'pleather' uppers are not the usual high quality material. It is very thin and when you bend the uppers, it almost feels like there is a cardboard type material in the middle or used in the liner and like it is 'cracking' or 'creasing'. Hard to describe. Also, the faux fur lining is ridiculously thin so as to be pointless for a "winter boot". And, lastly, there is NO padding in the forefoot. On the plus side, this lack of padding throughout the whole boot does make your foot look tiny, but not worth the discomfort.

I highly recommend the Henri Pierre brand (love the "Magda" sold this year by STP), but not this style. Very dissapointed as I liked the look of the Elisa and expected the usual quality which just was not there.

Initially I bought these boots for myself but it turns out to be too big so I gave it to my daughter and let's just say she's more than happy to take it off my hands. ?? The boots are darker than shown & I would recommend to order 1 size down. Great for anyone with wide feet.
