Verified Buyer Reviewed by Amber M from Seattle, WA on Friday, October 13, 2017I have lost a lot of weight in the past year and am still adjusting to new sizes in my clothing and unfortunately have to rely on measuring myself often and using size charts. Based on the size chart provided for this shirt, I ordered a LARGE, but when this came in it clung terribly and was extremely unflattering. Now, this may not be an issue if it's truly a layering piece, but I also wanted to be able to use it as an only layer and it was much too small for that. It was also a much thinner material than I was expecting. I have some UA base layers that are heavier and warmer and based on the photos and description, that's more along the lines of what I was expecting. I'm disappointed that this shirt was not what I was expecting because I know Simms brand is high quality and this would have / could have been a great addition to my gear if it had worked out. Wish they had the orange in XL.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Outdoorsy Lady from Pennsylvania Mountains on Wednesday, January 4, 2017Ordered a size large: I wanted a looser fit: this size top seems to work better for me than the large in the bottoms. That said, I need to make a point here: why do outdoor stores favor the "sweet young hiker models". I used to be one of those, but hey, now that I am more that that in years, I still like to be outside, need activewear, but I get exasperated with companies that should probably have "Jr's" attached to the sizing. So my guess with this top worked out, but my guess with the bottoms didn't work out.
Ok: to task: Long sleeves are great: fit well in the shoulders. This shirt is warm with a flannel top and a thermal sweater. Warm but not hot. Pleased with this.
