These shoes are a great fit and provide essential support for my feet.

I've bought these shoes multiple times now. I bought them for my husband and my father as well. They swear by these. The only reason why I continue buying these in multiples is because they both use these for work, and not for hiking. These are very comfortable. My father used to complain about his feet all the time but since he started wearing Merrell's shoes, the complaints stopped. Now, every quarter or so he asks when I will buy him another pair :) My guys' feet don't sweat in these, there's enough ventilation going on that they have no issues even if worn all day long in working conditions. I continue to come back to Sierra for all types of Merrell shoes and boots. Definitely my favorites!

These aren't quite the top of the line Merrell but they will do, we'll see how long they hold up

Hiked about 50 miles in these shoes in the first week through National Parks in Utah and Arizona. They were very comfortable. However, by day 2, the material had ripped on one of the shoes. Otherwise a good shoe. Sometimes the quality on Sierra Trading Post is hit or miss though.

The sole cushion is quite stiff/firm which is good if you are back-packing with these. If you are expecting softness, this shoe is not for you. But they are comfortable, and sized correctly. Perhaps a bit narrower if you have wide feet.
They are not water-proof, so if that is what you are looking for, not for you. These are for the need of ventilated shoes. But why would you need a low ankle waterproof shoe? Plus you can spray a waterproofing agent on them.

I am 5'175# 9.5 shoe size, I bought these for adventures in italy, I ordered 1/2 size larger and had some heal slip so returned. Felt like well built shoes that after broke in would be a very comfy and supportive shoe I could wear all day.

The move by Merrell to use a narrow toe on their shoes has hurt their product for me. I ordered a half size larger because some Merrell's have been on the small size, but when the shoe came in with a narrow toe I found my toes too crowded to be comfortable. Plus I don't like this look. So, I returned them

I've always wanted a pair of these. They went on a killer sale. I took advantage and snatched them up. I've been on a few hiking trips already and these are hands down the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever owned. I don't typically write reviews but these shoes deserve it! Thanks for a great product!
