Closeouts. Marmot's Leadville vest is named for the high-altitude Colorado town that hosts legendary ultra-distance races. Gore Windstopper® body fabric and M2 soft shell side panels offer enhanced breathability and mountain-tested performance, whether you're headed out to run the distance or not.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Joe Willie from Serbia on Wednesday, February 22, 2017Usual Marmot quality and windproof. Polertec liner on collar to absorb body oil from neck and prolong goretex life. I am 6'3" and weigh 210 and the XL fit me. Son is about 185 and 5'11"and L fit him.
Very versatile garment for runners for layering and for wearing over LS garment in variable weather. Particularly effective in wind and water.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by johnajda from San Mateo, California on Monday, January 9, 2017Over the years, I have purchased several running vests (of different brands and styles), however this Marmot waterproof soft shell vest is absolutely the best of all of them, due to its relaxed sizing (not too small/snug; I wear a Large, and I am not slim), generous breast pocket, high quality (materials and construction), and nice green color (most of my other vests are black; it's nice to have a vest with a different color which is bright, but not too bright).
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nick - NW outdoors person from NYC on Friday, December 2, 2016Does not insulate, rather protects from the wind, which is ideal for activities that generate heat or nice days that have wind.
Maybe the best thing is that one feels that actual temp outside, not the wind chill. With this vest, chilly days become perfect.
I'm 5'7", 140 lbs with a slightly longer torso. The vest was a small and fit normally, not restrictive, tight, nor loose.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mauka in Kona from Kailua Kona, Hawaii on Sunday, November 27, 2016Liked this quality Marmot vest so much I bought a second color. The Marmot website was having a 50% sale at the same time but still didn't beat the price even after shipping costs. Works well for early morning riding and hiking at elevation here on Hawaii Island.
