So light and soft. Great as layer for super cold skiing or ice climbing. Or as stand alone for cool weather.

This jacket is perfect for fall usage. With decent insulation, pockets to fit all of my needs, and a hoodie with decent cover it works well for me. It is light for a jacket, but was warmer then i expected it to be. The material is strong enough that it will not tear easily. Strong and reliable.

Moved back to Wisconsin after 25+ years living South/West. Forgotten how cold it is here. It was either this jacket, or gut a TaunTaun to stuff myself in. This smells better.

This is the best winter jacket I have ever owned. It's incredibly light weight. The insulation has kept me warm on days as cold as 15 degrees. It blocks wind well but not perfectly - I felt a little bit of wind inside when walking in 40mph gusts. The hood is comfortable, warm, stays on, and affords great visibility - so much nicer than jackets where the hood is like blinders. The cinch on the back of the hood works well. The zippers seem durable. I thought I'd be embarrassed by the bright green-yellow color, but I like it better in person than in the website photos. It's nice to bring some bright springy green into the wintry cold. If it holds up without pilling, this will be my go to jacket for both hiking and commuting, anytime it's below 40 degrees. I'd add a shell over it for wet weather, and a mid-layer for bitter cold.

Marmot quality construction all the way. Considered the Arcyterx cerium LT but it lacked a chest pocket and waist draw cord, this jacket has it all and at a better price.

I ordered a size large for my son (6'3 - very lean) but it was too small in the shoulders. The XL is perfect. The arms are nice and long and the torso is also perfect. I thought he might need the tall version of this jacket but that would have been waaaayyyyy too long.

I can hardly feel the weight of it on me. If you pull the pocket inside out, the jacket can be packed quite compactly.

The jacket itself recirculates heat as well as any other down i've had before, but it's small to size in my opinion. I initially ordered a large, as I have a marmot rain coat in the same size, but it was too tight across the shoulders and in the neck when fully zipped. I exchanged the large for an XL and have been pleased, dispite a little extra room. I'm 5'10" 200, with fairly broad shoulders, so someone more slender would probably fine in their normal size.
