Reviewed by Sue Tait from Christchurch, NZ Aoteara on Saturday, February 25, 2017Well I really wanted to like these because boots are my thing, but the tread appears plastic rather than rubber. They also make my calves look like i am trying to smuggle babies out of Africa. I hope I can find a friend to give to because it costs too much to return them. They are also very uncomfortable.I wanted to like Canadian boots, especially since you ship direct, but I actually feel quite aggrieved that I was not made haps by this purchase. Why else do I buy myself presents in the mail? Chaos really needs to put out a decent range or boots, or Earth Kalso needs to up it's game. Until then I remain a dissatisfied customer!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by synjon from Utah on Wednesday, January 25, 2017These boots were so cute I was very disappointed in the overall construction. The soles are very thin, almost like a rubber flipflop, and the shaft of the boot at the bottom of the calf was so narrow I couldn't zip it up. I don't think they would be very effective against the snow and cold. I sent them back.
Reviewed by Babci of 3 from upstate NY on Wednesday, January 25, 2017These are exactly what I need for deep, sloppy snow in the NE, but the boot runs run small (I take 8.5 - 9, but should have ordered the next size just to wear winter sox) & I have slim calves and these just barely fit @ the top of the zipper (top of the calf). I'm hoping that the nylon material will stretch. If that happens, I'd call them a 4-star.
