I really enjoy everything about this pack pack. I've been using it for my day hikes. It's got just enough space to put all of the things I like to take along. I'm a writer too so the pen slots are a nice touch. The side pockets for water bottles is great. The only problem I have is that after a while the shoulder straps start to hurt my shoulders (although, this could just be because I need to work out). :-) Also, when there is a lap top in the back pocket, the bag starts to hurt my lower back. I'm not really sure if this is an issue with the backpack or me.

Either way, awesome bag!

It's a cute backpack. It's a good size for work and travel. I do wish it had more pockets though, to keep things separate.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Good Backpack

I commute by public train daily and wanted a backpack that couldn't be easily opened by thieves. It is a comfortable backpack, but it could use some more interior pockets for papers. Also, the chest strap hits me in the throat, so I cannot use it.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, compact backpack

I commute to work via public transportation and like that the backpack doesn't have a lot of exterior pockets for someone to get into. It could use some more interior pockets though, and the small strap that is supposed to go across your chest to cinch the larger straps together, actually hits me at my throat, so this feature is completely useless to me.

About Mountain Hardwear

Starting back in 1993, a small group of outdoor industry mavericks broke away from the pack to follow a less-traveled path. From the very beginning, the primary goal of Mountain Hardwear was to create an outdoor gear brand with a sharp focus on technology-driven design, superior performance and hardcore reliability. The result of this function-first mentality has been an array of incredible Mountain Hardwear jackets, clothing, tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and accessories. Today, after more than two decades of industry-leading innovation, Mountain Hardwear continues to set new benchmarks for dependability in the toughest conditions on the planet.
