1816 by Remington The Over Under Jacket - Reversible, Wool (For Men)
Closeouts. Zip up two warm jackets in one when you put on 1816 by Remington's The Over Under reversible jacket. The sophisticated wool-blend tweed side has a stylishly offset back yoke, and the quilted, water-resistant waxed fabric side gives this marvel of design a simpler look.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Scott R. from New JErsey on Monday, December 5, 2016I found this jacket to be of very good quality. This is my 2nd 1816 by Remington jacket. Perfect length for in the car.
Reviewed by Al from chicago on Sunday, November 20, 2016Obviously the tag misspelling is bad (they get it right on one of the interior tags, though), and it's a strange jacket. The waxed jacket with the wool makes it an issue for cleaning (I can't dry clean it if I want to preserve the wax waterproofing, but maybe I can just wash it by hand without soap?).
Overall, it's fairly well made. I'll probably not worry about the wax and treat it like a mid weight wool jacket or heavier cardigan to layer and then dry clean it or hand wash when it's needed. Well worth it for the money.

Reviewed by Rex from TEXAS on Wednesday, November 2, 2016I bought this assuming 1816 quality and Italian labour/materials would be a great match. I was wrong - the wool is very coarse and itchy, hard to imagine anyone would reverse it to the inside.
As noted in another review, Italy is spelled Itayl on the lable - really, how much would it have cost to have corrected this issue, and if something this easy to correct made it through QA, what else is wrong with the jacket. As you may have guessed I returned mine!
Reviewed by LETT from California on Monday, October 31, 2016I was disappointed with the fit and quality of this jacket. The sleeves run tight and too long. The wool-blend tweed is itchy. The label was even misspelled "MADE IN ITAYL"
