Philosophy Cotton Jersey Dress - Sleeveless (For Women)

Overstock. Philosophy is known for their ability to take simple styles and timeless silhouettes and blend them with a comfortable design and chic, modern style that's oh-so trendy. And wouldn't you know it -- this Philosophy sleeveless dress does just that with its shapely lines, jersey-knit cotton and eye-catchingly funky print. Mini built-in shoulder pads add a touch of structure.

I should have paid attention to the other reviews! I have no idea why this dress has shoulder pads which cannot be removed. It looks nice in the photo but I sadly had to return this.

Runs true to size and very comfortable!

Shoulder pads in a tank dress are weird. The elastic on the back to create a waist in the dress in is not flattering on me either. Sent it back.

This dress is very cute, but a bit shorter than it looks on the model. It also runs small, so even though I'm almost always a medium, I had to return that and get a large, just because I didn't want to wear it skin tight. The shoulder pads were weird, but I snipped them out and that was fine. There are also some black tiny jewels across the front that I didn't know would be there, but they're suttle and I like them.

If you are busty and have broad shoulders this is not the dress for you. It is a fully lined dress that is very well made but it is just a strange design. It has these fairly robust shoulder pads that just make no sense and look silly if you are top heavy like me. The gather at the back did not hit me at the waist as my bust raised the front up and made the back match suit. It would be much nicer on a petite or slender lady. Oh and the print looks more like eyeballs up close... but it's still cute.
