My daughter has worn this as a wind breaker and in light rain. It fits well. She like not having to wear a hand-me-down jacket.

Waterproof, blocks the wind great. I can't wait to try it out more.

Functionally this gets 4 or 5 stars but aesthetically it gets 3.

We bought this jacket for my husband because we were planning to hike in El Yunque (rainforest in Puerto Rico) on a recent trip and the jacket fit the bill: it is a fairly breathable and very lightweight waterproof barrier. Nice functional touches like a good hood and pulls to tighten the fit. Comes with its own pouch for packing.

Aesthetically, the jacket is kind of bizarre. Really boxy and big (my husband usually wears a small and this was really swimming on him), so I'd suggest sizing down. The color is definitely more pastel-looking in person.

Bottom line: if you want an affordable and functional waterproof barrier this is a good choice, but it's not a jacket to buy if you're picky about styling.

I really like this jacket. I haven't worn it in a downpour yet, but I have worn it in a light rain. It is very water resistant. It runs a bit large, which was a pleasant plus for me as I will need to wear a sweater under it from time to time. I love the apple green color I got as well. The seams appear to be well constructed as well. There is a nice vent across the upper back, which helped to keep me from getting to warm while I ran with the dog the other morning.

I am a 5'8" 135lb woman. I am always skeptical when a garment says it's for Men and Women, and was prepared for a boxy oversized fit. I bought a small and boxy it was. The arms were long, which I liked, but the body of the coat is short and very wide. A strange fit. If you happen to be that particular size I thought the materials and make was just fine.

I thought the reviews for this product were too good to be true. My hesitations were warranted based solely on the color of the jacket. My husband often works in the rain. We live in a very warm climate, therefore a light-weight water barrier was a must. This jacket does just that. I am thankful for the reviews that were available. They were accurate regarding the jacket's functionality and effectiveness as a water barrier, and that's what we needed. However, the color as it appears online is a terrible depiction of the real product. It is BABY BLUE, and I mean pastel Easter blue. The baby blue a newborn wears. And what makes it worse is the fabric is transparent. You can see straight through. My husband decided to keep it, bc he could care less about the appearance, IF it does its job, and after a New Years weekend of rain it has proven to be effective. Good product, especially for the price! Just be prepared for the "ice blue" to be see-through baby blue.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my husband. They look good, are very well made, and will serve as perfect coverage for walks in the rain!

Material is a bit "bag like" and size is large, but I wanted something that was packable and rain proof. Have not used it in the rain yet, but it looks to be what I needed.

I ordered the XS as I usually wear a women's small. It's very oddly shaped- too short in the front (I'm only 5'4 so that's unusual) but the sleeves are long enough. The blue color is pretty. It's going back though.
