Bell Super 2R MIPS Mountain Bike Helmet (For Women)
Closeouts. Bell's Super 2R MIPS mountain bike helmet features a unique design that offers the protection of a full-face helmet and the ventilation of a half-shell. The detachable chin guard and MIPS technology offer extra protection for enduro riders who don't want to overheat.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MD from So. Cal on Monday, September 19, 2016Helmet fit well, and seems quite solid, and chin bar removes simply and easily. With only a couple rehearsals, it can be removed without having to remove helmet. Rear size adjustment is easy to use and really gives the ability to get the helmet snug. The cheek pads in the chin bar are firm, but not too much, and help keep helmet from moving about over bumpy terrain. Also believe they are removable too. Think the chin strap could be more stout, slightly wider perhaps? color combo tolerable, ( white/blue/orange) and thankful it is NOT the usual pink/purple combo that most manufacturers seem to think women want?? A great buy, and even better at half-price ! Sierras pricing made it affordable for me !
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Warm feet Wendy from Montana on Thursday, September 8, 2016Love having 2 helmets in one! I can bomb downhill with it then take off the chin guard for a cyclocross race. Easy to take the chin guard on and off and it secures nicely on the outside of my pack when climbing. Nice and light weight, comfortable, fits well, stays in place and no visibility issues. I haven't worn it on a hot day yet, but it appears well vented.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by MTB Toast from PNW on Thursday, September 8, 2016Great helmet so far. I really appreciate how it can be full face or just a regular helmet. Haven't worn the full face on a ride yet, but after watching Bell's tech videos about it, I feel a lot more confident riding knowing my nog will be protected. Got it at a great price here, only downside is they only offered this color scheme. Probably not my first choice.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by RG from Bent Creek, NC on Wednesday, September 7, 2016I'll take a good protection with face protection with a good build quality for half price and risk looking nerdy wearing a helmet branded for women with a chin bar. Lets see them keep up with me on the downhill and not bust face. Overall happy with the purchase. Nothing different about this helmet than the "male" version other than the sexist overtones. It's not pink. Helmet is substantially higher build quality than the average department store helmet or typical bell helmet. Screwed in specialty molded plastic with a liner that does allow cool air to circulate over your head and just enough pressure to not give a headache but not rattle around on my head. I did try a couple on before I settled on a size and ordered off the internet.
