Nutcase Metroride Helmet (For Men and Women)
Closeouts. Commute in style and safety with the Nutcase Metroride helmet, and enjoy a streamlined, CPSC-certified durable polycarbonate in-mold shell for impact protection. It also has moisture-wicking padding that dries quickly, as well as a magnetic clasp that stays in place during your ride and easily releases after.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by takoma mama from Brussels on Friday, September 15, 2017I bought this helmet for myself and my 10 yo loved it so much I had to get him his own. The magnetic clasp is EVERYTHING. Latches instantly, even one handed, and never, ever pinches the skin. There's no going back to the cringe-inducing clasp used by most other helmets.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by sfcavco from san francisco on Tuesday, August 22, 2017this helmet was smaller that the indicated head size. I measured my head, bought this helmet as it was withing the range of my size, but was too small
Reviewed by Dave from Chicagoland on Friday, July 28, 2017My head measures exactly 23 1/4", but apparently the shape of the SMML 21 5/8-23 1/4" Metroride is more oval than my head making the fit way too narrow on the sides for me. Have another brand of helmet that is a M with an upper limit of 23.2" that fits perfectly.
It's a good quality helmet. Luckily it fits my son perfectly and he likes the magnet clasp, which is a lot nicer to use.
One star off due the sizing listed in the helmet not matching their website which has the sizes listed as S/M(21 5/8-23 1/4") & L/XL (23 1/4-24 3/8") and the helmet not even coming close to fitting my wide head.
Reviewed by Schmelle from Topeka, KS on Sunday, May 14, 2017I love this helmet. It has a perfect fit which is adjustable. The magnetic clasp it very secure and super easy to latch and unlatch with one hand. It came with a visor, but I like it better without.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Schmelle from Kansas on Monday, April 24, 2017I love my plaid version of this helmet. It's very comfortable. Comes with extra padding and a visor that you can attach or not. The only draw back is that it runs slightly small. It just fits. If my head grows...I'm in trouble. ??
